Household Electricity Generation Systems

Since the introduction of the ‘Feed-In’ Tariff’ there has been considerable interest in PhotoVoltaic domestic electricity generation. The Renewable Heat Incentive followed which meant households which installed Solar Water Heating, Ground or Air Source Heat Pumps and bio-mass boilers were also entitled to government payments for the electricity generated in their homes.

QE ran a series of presentations about the installation and working of PV panels through the Spring and Summer of 2011 and also one on heat pumps.
